SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT

We have a unique and exciting opportunity for a Business Software Solutions Architect within our IT Department.

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE:

As Business Solutions Architect in the FMRP IT team you use your elaborate software development knowledge for different purposes.  Due to your expertise you're involved in different projects.

You engage with the stakeholders and capture their business requirements.

You translate business requirements into suitable software solutions and build these solutions on an architectural level. You coach your software development colleagues during the delivery and share your knowledge with them.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
  • Three (3) or more years of programming experience with .Net and C# programming languages
  • Four (4) or more years of experience in gathering customer requirements and writing functional and technical design documentation
  • Three (3) or more years of experience with Data modeling, business process modeling and related tools
  • Ability to create, configure, and document solutions independently
  • Proven track record of successful ECM implementations
  • Ability to identify document flows in/between business processes, and to redesign these business processes for optimization of document flows
  • Elaborate knowledge on ECM tools and processes (Hyland OnBase is considered an asset)
  • Understanding of business processes from a business perspective (e.g. Finance, Procurement, Case management, HR, Service, Marketing)
  • Familiarity with the agile project management methodologies (Scrum is considered an asset)
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring technical teams
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and XML
  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2008 and basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking
  • Knowledge of hardware/software load balancing is considered an asset
  • Administrator experience on SQL Server or Oracle databases is considered an asset
