This Position reports to: Production Supervisor The Measurement & Analytics Division is one of the world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of intelligent instruments and analyzers, operating at the heart of the industrial digital transformation. The division’s portfolio includes analyzers that measure gas and liquid composition; instrumentation that measures process variables such as temperature, pressure, flow, and level; force measurement solutions that assess parameters such as flatness, thickness, and tension; as well as advanced digital solutions for device management, equipment health monitoring, and predictive maintenance. The Measurement & Analytics Division serves key industries such as oil and gas, chemicals, water and wastewater, power generation, hydrogen, batteries, and the marine industry. It enables the optimization of industrial processes by providing and analyzing data collected from intelligent sensing and measurement devices. Parameters such as emission levels and production inputs are measured by providing “before” and “after” values, enabling efficient operations and environmental sustainability through measurement. Reporting to: Production Supervisor Work Location: Québec, QC Employment Type: Full-time Schedule: Day Shift Job Description Do you have a passion for precision craftsmanship and skilled trades? Join our team as a Glassblower. In this role, you will contribute to the manufacturing and processing of glass components used in high-precision measurement instruments. You will work in a structured production environment where quality, attention to detail, and compliance with safety standards are essential. Responsibilities Prepare raw glass materials and select the required components in accordance with established manufacturing procedures. Blow, shape, and assemble glass components using blowpipes, molds, and other specialized tools to produce parts that meet specifications. Monitor and adjust furnace and equipment temperatures to ensure the quality and integrity of manufactured parts. Perform finishing, polishing, and inspection of glass components to ensure compliance with quality requirements. Follow health and safety standards and work procedures when handling hot materials and specialized equipment. Depending on operational needs, the incumbent may also be required to participate in the assembly of measurement instruments within various production cells. Qualifications Experience in glassblowing or artisanal glass processing (asset). Vocational or college education in fine crafts, glass processing, materials, or a related field (asset). Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in painting, machining, or metalworking functions (asset). Excellent manual dexterity, fine motor skills, attention to detail, and precision. Curiosity, resourcefulness, and a willingness to learn new techniques and processes.
