About The Opportunity Our client is a growing and innovative advanced manufacturing organization seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve production processes within a highly regulated, quality-driven environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work at the intersection of manufacturing, engineering, quality, and new product development while making a direct impact on operational performance and product success. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives, supporting product launches, optimizing manufacturing processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, quality, and reliability. Key Responsibilities Lead manufacturing process improvements to increase productivity, efficiency, and product quality. Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical and process-related challenges. Plan and execute manufacturing validations, including IQ, OQ, PQ, risk assessments, and process qualification activities. Develop, maintain, and improve work instructions, manufacturing documentation, test procedures, and process controls. Analyze production workflows, equipment utilization, and facility layouts to identify opportunities for optimization. Design and implement tooling, fixtures, jigs, test equipment, and automation solutions that improve manufacturing performance. Support new product introduction activities, including prototype builds, engineering trials, validation activities, and production ramp-up. Provide Design for Manufacturing (DFM) input to engineering teams during product development. Evaluate existing products and processes to identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, and manufacturability enhancements. Investigate production issues, non-conformances, customer returns, and corrective action initiatives. Perform root cause analysis and support continuous improvement and CAPA activities. Conduct tolerance analyses on mechanical and electromechanical assemblies. Contribute to annual operational excellence and productivity improvement objectives. Support compliance with quality management systems and applicable industry regulations. Qualifications Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline. 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience within a regulated manufacturing environment. Experience leading process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives. Hands-on experience with manufacturing validations (IQ/OQ/PQ) and risk assessment methodologies such as FMEA. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, automation, and process development. Experience working with electromechanical products or assemblies. Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities. Why Apply? Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
