Guided Wave Ultrasonic Testing (GWUT) Technician

Echo NDE is currently seeking an experienced Guided Wave Ultrasonic Testing Technician, to join our growing NDT team to support our operations out of Red Deer, AB. This is an excellent opportunity to work with advanced inspection technologies in a dynamic field environment. Responsibilities Perform Guided Wave Ultrasonic Testing (GWUT) inspections on pipelines and related assets. Interpret and analyze inspection data with a high level of accuracy. Ensure compliance with industry standards, procedures, and safety requirements. Collaborate with field teams and clients to deliver high-quality inspection results. Requirements CGSB UT Level 2 certification. CGSB MT and PT Level 2 certifications is considered an asset. CSWIP Level I (GWUT) certification will be considered an asset. Hands-on experience with Eddyfi GWUT systems preferred. Experience with GUL or MsS systems will also be considered. Minimum 2+ years of relevant NDT experience. Perform Guided Wave Ultrasonic Testing (GWUT) inspections on pipelines and related assets while ensuring compliance with industry safety standards. Interpret inspection data accurately and collaborate with field teams to deliver high-quality results.

Requires a CGSB UT Level 2 certification and a minimum of 2 years of relevant NDT experience. Hands-on experience with Eddyfi, GUL, or MsS systems is preferred, and the ability to travel is required.
