3D Tekla Model Technician

Job summary

In this role, you will: Technical Support and Data Management * Analyze the 3D model to meet manufacturing requirements * Complete and validate technical information in drawings * Extract and organize data from the model (reports, measurements, etc.) * Resolve technical issues related to production * Ensure data quality and integrity Production and Validation of Technical Deliverables * Produce and revise shop drawings and assembly details * Prepare drawings and CNC files * Interpret materials and manufacturing processes * Produce the required technical documentation * Participate in the validation of modeled components Method Optimization and Teamwork * Contribute to manufacturing and assembly methods * Participate in the improvement of processes and models * Collaborate with teams (engineering, production, projects) * Apply BIM standards and best practices * Provide technical support to operations Desired Qualifications * High school diploma or a vocational diploma (DEP) in industrial drafting * 1 to 3 years of experience in 3D modeling, steel structure detailing, or a related field * Experience with Tekla Structures (or similar software: Revit, SolidWorks, Advance Steel) (ab asset ) * Proficiency with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel) * Excellent communication skills in French and English (spoken and written) Knowledge and Skills * Good understanding of the product development cycle (analysis, design, validation, production) * Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, shop drawings, and schematics (mechanical, structural, or piping) * Good knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes, materials, and digital manufacturing environments (CNC, DSTV files, etc.) * Ability to design, modify, and optimize technical parts or assemblies * Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a rigorous approach * Strong prioritization skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously * Team player who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment * Independence, initiative, and the ability to adapt to new technologies What we offer you: * Compressed workweek consisting of 4 10-hour shifts (Monday through Thursday from 11:15 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.) * Comprehensive group insurance plan with employer contribution; * Pension plan with employer contribution; * Annual bonus plan; * Employee and family assistance program (access to telemedicine); * Charging stations (free of charge) for electric vehicles; * Fully equipped on-site fitness center for employees; * On-site cafeteria with reasonably priced meals. * Corporate sports league
