Job Description Position: Electrical Technician Location: Candiac, Quebec Department: Operations Position Type: Full-Time | On-Site | Day Shift Compensation: $47.01/hour About The Role As an Electrical Technician at ADM, you will play a key role in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of the electrical and electronic systems at our Candiac facility. You will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and continuously improving electrical equipment, working closely with other departments to ensure the reliable operation of our industrial processes. Your Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment. Diagnose equipment failures and perform the necessary repairs to ensure production continuity. Participate in the optimization of electrical systems to improve efficiency and safety. Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation. Perform testing, adjustments, and commissioning of new equipment. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and applicable regulatory requirements. Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex technical issues. Prepare maintenance reports and document all work performed. Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing the performance and reliability of the facility. DEC in Industrial Electronic Respond to emergency service calls outside regular working hours according to the on-call rotation schedule. Your Qualifications DEC in Industrial Electronics Technology, Instrumentation and Control, or equivalent training. Hold a Class C electrical license for non-construction electrical work. Three (3) to five (5) years of industrial electrical maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including motors, programmable logic controllers, control systems, and regulation systems. Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills for electrical and electronic equipment. Excellent understanding of electrical safety standards and industrial best practices. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team. Functional bilingualism in French and English, both written and spoken. Proficiency with computer tools and maintenance management software, including Microsoft Office. Availability to respond to emergency service calls outside regular working hours according to the on-call rotation schedule. What We Offer Overtime premium opportunities.
