Laboratory Technician B This is a seasonal position with an anticipated end date of February 28th 2027 with the possibility of extension. Please note, weekend availability will be required for this role. Duties: Perform basic laboratory procedures including preparation of samples, reagents and calibration solutions Provide general lab support including washing glassware, cleaning work stations and waste disposal Calibrate, operate, maintain and troubleshoot intermediate instruments Compile, verify and validate accurate data records Meet quality assurance and turn around specifications Follow all Quality Control and Standard Operating Procedures Report results Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Experience with GC/MS/FID, IC, ICP, Microtox is an asset Technical Diploma/degree in Science or equivalent experience required Knowledge of full laboratory processes Intermediate Computer Skills Ability to work in a positive manner in a fast paced environment Good communication skills and ability to work independently Why Join Us? Perform basic laboratory procedures including sample preparation, reagent preparation, and instrument calibration. Maintain lab cleanliness and ensure accurate data recording in compliance with quality assurance specifications.

Requires a technical diploma or degree in Science or equivalent experience. Proficiency with specific analytical instruments like GC/MS/FID and IC is considered an asset.
