Job Summary: We are currently looking for an Apprentice HVAC/R Commercial Service Technician to assist Journeyman technicians in the overhaul and servicing of HVAC/R units and systems. Key Responsibilities: * Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment for commercial customers. * Installation of HVAC/R-related equipment and components. * Assist Journeyman technicians in the overhaul and servicing of HVAC/R units and systems. * Perform maintenance and repair on refrigeration equipment and systems. * Adhere to all company policies and procedures. * Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety, and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations. * Contribute to the ongoing training and mentoring of indentured apprentices. * Adhere to the Company’s Quality System operating procedures. * Perform other duties as assigned by Management. Qualifications: * Currently enrolled in, or have you completed, an HVAC/R apprenticeship program in Ontario * Basic understanding of Mechanical Installation and repairs. * Valid Ontario Drivers License. * Excellent Math and problem solving skills. * Ability to work alone and in a team environment. * Must be able to lift heavy materials, tools and equipment when required. The pay range is $23.29 to $51.27 per hour. The compensation for this position is as per the collective agreement. Candidates must be currently enrolled in or have completed an HVAC/R apprenticeship program in Ontario. A valid Ontario Driver's License and the ability to lift heavy materials are required.
