Our Ideal Candidate Allnorth’s Calgary team is currently looking for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to support industrial projects across the energy, renewables, fiber and chemicals, and infrastructure sectors. As the successful candidate, you will contribute to a wide variety of engineering studies and detailed design projects while supporting technical solutions within project schedules and budgets. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you will support project delivery, engineering analysis, equipment and piping design, and client-focused problem-solving. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful industrial projects while continuing to develop your technical expertise and consulting experience. A Day in the Life * Support mechanical engineering deliverables for industrial projects from concept through detailed design * Assist with equipment sizing, piping systems, and mechanical design activities * Prepare technical documentation, specifications, procurement datasheets, and engineering packages * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project execution and delivery * Participate in client meetings, field reviews, and technical problem-solving activities as required What You’ll Bring to the Team * Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering * Registered as a P.Eng. in Alberta or EIT actively progressing toward registration * 4–8 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience, ideally within consulting, EPCM, or industrial environments * Experience supporting industrial project development and execution * Strong communication skills (interpersonal and written) and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary environment * Technical competency and strong attention to detail * Familiarity with industrial engineering standards and mechanical design tools is considered an asset What’s in it for you?
