Our Ideal Candidate Allnorth’s Calgary team is currently looking for a Process or Mechanical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to support industrial projects across the energy, renewables, fiber and chemicals, and infrastructure sectors. As the successful candidate, you will assist with engineering studies and detailed design projects while working alongside senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams. You will support engineering calculations, technical documentation, equipment and piping design, and project coordination while gaining exposure to a variety of industrial projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build consulting experience and develop technical expertise in a collaborative environment. A Day in the Life * Support process and mechanical engineering design activities for industrial projects * Assist with engineering calculations, technical documentation, and project coordination * Contribute to equipment, piping, and process system design activities * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery * Participate in field reviews, client meetings, and technical problem-solving activities as required What You’ll Bring to the Team * Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related discipline * Registered as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with APEGA or eligible for registration * 0–3 years of relevant experience, including co-op or internship experience * Strong communication skills (interpersonal and written) and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment * Technical competency and strong attention to detail * Interest in industrial mechanical/process engineering and consulting environments What’s in it for you? Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering and registration as an EIT with APEGA. Candidates should have 0-3 years of relevant experience and strong technical competency.
