Responsabilité Générale: Vous préparez les échantillons des clients pour l’analyse dans nos laboratoires. Les candidats doivent avoir la capacité de soulever périodiquement des poids au cours de la journée et de travailler dans un environnement poussiéreux et très chaud. Dans le cas contraire, un tel poste ne vous conviendrait pas. La sécurité interdit de porter des verres de contact, en tout temps, dans le laboratoire. Principales tâches de ce poste: Effectuer les broyages, les tamisages (incluant des sols internationales), et le fractionnement sous la supervision directe; Chargement et déchargement des fours de séchage sous surveillance; Maintenir un registre/journal de la production; Broyage et préparation d’échantillons géologiques pour analyses; Travail avec de l’équipement industriel léger; Application correcte des produits et des méthodes conformément; Familier avec toutes les règles de sécurité pour le laboratoire et la préparation d’échantillons; Autres tâches assignées par le directeur, le directeur adjoint ou les superviseurs. Exigences : Une bonne communication et une aptitude à coordonner les mains sont exigées; Un bon sens de l’organisation; Horaire variable; Démontre une compréhension des techniques de base en communication (verbalement et par écrit); Capacité de travailler dans un environnement très chaud et poussiéreux. Exigence physiques : Doit être capable de rester debout/assis pendant de longues périodes; L’environnement peut être poussiéreux et très chaud; Doit être capable d’exécuter un ensemble de tâches différentes; Doit être capable de soulever jusqu’à 50 livres (l’assistance d’un autre employé/équipement de levage est obligatoire si le montant dépasse 50 livres); Être toujours rasé de près afin de porter l’équipement de protection (masque protecteur contre la poussière, lunettes de sécurité et bouchons d’oreilles).
