WHAT YOU’LL DO * Report to the Supervisor, Billing. * Provide service to Insurance Agency on billing related matters. * Provide service to insurance customers on payment and billing related matters. * Responsible for the calculation, preparation and issue of billing documents. * Process and review payments, cancellations, cash reversals, and related tasks for accuracy. * Ensure information adheres to corporate policies and procedures. * Respond to internal staff inquiries, maintain good relations and solve problems. * Produce accurate financial reports and operational information; when asked, develop, produce and maintain ad hoc and custom reports. * Perform related clerical duties, such as word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, faxing and photocopying. WHAT YOU’VE DONE * You have a high school diploma and post-secondary education in accounting. If your education is in something else, tell us how it will benefit you in this role. * You have a minimum of one year of accounting experience. * You're a wiz with Microsoft Office Suite. * You are computer literate with a demonstrated ability to adapt to new systems. * You have working knowledge of related computerized accounting systems.
