Job Description Reporting to the Security Supervisor, the Security Systems Technician will be responsible for installing security cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems for clients throughout Quebec and Ontario. The incumbent will also perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on existing security installations while delivering exceptional customer service whenever required. What You Will Be Responsible For : Install, configure, and repair security systems, including CCTV cameras, intrusion alarm systems, and access control systems. Perform routine inspections to ensure all security equipment is operating properly. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to security systems. Advise internal and external customers on appropriate security solutions, including intrusion alarms, fire protection systems, video surveillance, and access control systems. Provide technical support to internal departments and subcontractors. Participate in the planning and execution of security projects in collaboration with the Security team. Prepare detailed service reports and maintain accurate technical documentation and follow-up. Qualifications To Join Our Team: Valid Class 5 driver's license held for a minimum of two (2) years. Valid BSP (Bureau de la sécurité privée) license for Security Systems Installation and Technical Consulting. Experience with or knowledge of Genetec, Axis Communications, and Bosch Security Systems is considered an asset. Diploma in Security Systems Installation and Maintenance or a related field (Vocational Diploma, AEC, DEC, or equivalent). 2 to 5 years of experience in the security systems industry. Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written. Ability to work independently, both on the road and at customer sites. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and provide excellent customer service. Excellent communication, problem-solving, stress management, and adaptability skills. Resourceful, self-motivated, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
