Job Description Overview AtkinsRéalis is one of Canada's largest private sector nuclear engineering groups. Your role Support conceptual and detail design engineering work various reactor components to applicable procedures, codes and standards. Assignments are normally performed under close supervision of an engineer in a higher grade. Design activities include but are not limited to the preparation of design documents, technical reports, including technical calculations. Prepare responses to technical questions, from reviewers or clients with the support from a technical lead or an engineer in a higher grade. Develop information and prepare technical documents, such as: engineering drawings and bill of materials, calculations, design specifications, design assessments, design requirements, design manuals, technical specifications (for procurement, fabrication, and site installation), testing specifications and reports, etc. About you Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from a university of recognized standing. Eligible to be licensed as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario. Experience in solid mechanics through university projects or previous jobs. Working experience with codes and standards is an asset. Experience in classical stress calculation - examples from university projects or previous jobs will be required during the interview. Experience in technical report writing. Trained and/or experienced in the application of GD&T is an asset. General knowledge of design process. Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and eligibility for a Professional Engineer license in Ontario. Candidates should have experience in solid mechanics and technical report writing, with knowledge of design processes and codes.
