The engineer will prepare detailed electrical plans, perform power system studies, and oversee the design and commissioning of industrial electrical projects. They will also supervise a team of engineers and technicians while coordinating directly with clients. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and have at least 8 years of relevant experience in the mining, metals, or petrochemical industries. Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) and proficiency in electrical analysis software like ETAP or EasyPower are required.
