The role involves determining project needs, performing mechanical designs and calculations, and drafting technical reports and specifications. Additionally, the engineer will coordinate between stakeholders and provide technical support during construction phases. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and be a member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. A minimum of 15 years of relevant mechanical experience is required, with CAPM or PMP certifications considered an asset.
