JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW The Structural Building team is currently looking for a motivated and skilled Structural Engineer to support the growth of the local office. This position is based out of our Vancouver office working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team. YOUR ROLE * Actively participate in the design and preparation of plans and specifications (steel, concrete, wood, masonry, etc.). * Conduct studies, surveys, technical reports and structural inspections. * Supervise the execution of structural work during the construction phase. * Ensure that the engineering work is produced according to the quality standards of the industry and respect the National Building Code and British Columbia Building Code. * Coordinate projects that impact your structural design with the other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, architecture, process, etc.). * Maintain and develop client and stakeholder relationships. ABOUT YOU * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Master's Degree in Structural Engineering is an asset. * Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with EGBC (or ability to obtain within 6 months). * Minimum five (5) years of previous related experience in a similar role is preferred. * Strong experience with structural design software (ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, etc.). * Ability to provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level engineers. * Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Detail-oriented with the ability to manage changing priorities. Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $80,000 - $100,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and preferably have a Master's in Structural Engineering, along with a minimum of five years of related experience. Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with EGBC is required, alongside strong proficiency in structural design software and the ability to mentor junior staff.
