Job summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inspection & Safety Technician to join our Vancouver Head Office team. This role involves conducting field inspections, preparing reports, and supporting safety compliance initiatives. Key Responsibilities Conduct annual inspections of fall protection systems for a variety of clients, including property managers, building owners, and facility personnel Perform load testing on safety systems in accordance with PPMP, regulatory, and code requirements Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation Track and follow up on outstanding inspection reports and unbilled work Coordinate with engineering and internal teams for final reporting and remedial actions Prepare and arrange delivery of replacement logbooks as required Maintain accurate and organized electronic records of inspections Support and maintain company health and safety programs in alignment with BCCSA requirements What You Bring Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and commitment to safety Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings Fluency in English (written and verbal) Additional Requirements Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites Knowledge of fall protection systems is an asset Familiarity with health and safety regulations is an asset What We Offer Competitive hourly wage with bonus and overtime opportunities Comprehensive benefits package, including: Extended health, dental, and vision care Disability and life insurance Profit sharing Tuition reimbursement Wellness program Casual work environment Flexible scheduling Full-time, permanent position In-house training and career development opportunities Apply Today Please submit your resume and cover letter via Indeed.
