Location: Saskatoon, SK Employment Status: Day shift 8:00AM -4:30PM On-call availability and Weekend work as well. You will be responsible for implementing protected Work Areas for contractors and the like, within Saskatoon and Saskatchewan. TCP's implement safe lane closures and traffic detours with physical setup and removal of devices such as barricades, pylons, signage and digital messaging boards. QUALIFICATIONS * A year of previous traffic control experience will be considered an asset, specifically lane closures and takedowns. * A valid Non-GDL (non-graduated) Class 5 Driver’s License and a Clean 3-Year Regular Drivers Abstract is required to drive our company vehicles. * Experience with Flat Deck trucks and Towing trailers an asset. * Navigation of City of Saskatoon an Asset * Own vehicle to get to and from work is required as ATS is not located on public transit routes. * As this is a safety-sensitive role, all candidates must undergo and pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Test. Note: All safety-sensitive positions have a zero tolerance policy marijuana, medical or recreational. * Ability to successfully pass a Fit Test including lifting between 50 to 75 pounds. * A valid ACSA TCP Ticket is an asset, however ATS covers the cost and provides ALL training and tickets to get you started! * Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): All you need to bring is a pair of CSA Approved Safety Boots on your first day - we will cover the rest.
