We’re currently looking for a Lube Technician to join our Salmon Arm GM team. If you’re reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated to build your skills in a fast-paced shop environment, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. The Drive Ahead (Role Duties) * Perform oil changes, fluid checks, and basic vehicle maintenance services * Inspect vehicles for wear and potential issues, reporting findings to the service team * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in the shop * Assist technicians with general shop duties and support workflow efficiency * Deliver quality workmanship while meeting service timelines Performance Essentials (Qualifications) * Previous automotive or lube technician experience is an asset but not required * Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and grow in the automotive field * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment * Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship * Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract * Full-time availability — typically Monday to Friday (approx. 40 hours/week) Bannister Accessories * Competitive wages based on industry benchmarks and experience * Extended benefits package, including health, dental, and vision care * Group RSP contribution program for long-term financial support * Unlimited career growth across the Bannister Automotive Group — internal candidates are prioritized * Ongoing training and professional development Bannister Automotive Group is an equal opportunity employer and committed to providing a respectful, inclusive workplace. What you’ll do

Perform oil changes, fluid checks, and basic vehicle maintenance while inspecting for wear and potential issues. Maintain a clean and safe workspace while supporting the overall workflow efficiency of the service team.

Requirements

Candidates should have a valid driver's license with a clean abstract and a strong work ethic. Previous automotive experience is considered an asset but is not required for this entry-level position.
