Summary Identifies basic normal rhythms/dysrhythmias and lethal arrhythmia's, reporting these findings to the appropriate personnel and labeling and mounting rhythm strips per BayCare policy. The technician identifies normal and lethal cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias. They are responsible for reporting findings to appropriate personnel and labeling rhythm strips according to policy.

Candidates must be a high school graduate or have a GED. Completion of a technical program or degree in Electrocardiography/EKG is considered nonessential.
