Mental Health Technician Position Details: Facility: Behavioral Health Center Location: Tampa, FL Status: Full time, Hourly Shift Hours: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM Weekend Work: Every Other On Call: No The Mental Health Technician Responsibilities: Provides direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct Supervision of a Registered Nurse. Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing. Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients. Requirements
Requires a high school diploma and BLS certification, with a preference for CNA or Patient Care Technician certifications. Preferred candidates may hold an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field or have 6 months of psychology experience.
