Job summary

Summary JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking to hire a Chiller Technician to join our team! Responsibilities: Experience in on-demand service calls on commercial, industrial and institutional chiller equipment specializing in Chillers and Cooling Towers Able to perform planned maintenance on centrifugal, screw, reciprocating, and scroll compressors; with York, Daikin, Trane, Carrier, Smardt, Arctic Cool, Tandem, and Multistack chillers. Experience conducting or assisting overhauls on chillers, troubleshooting, and diagnosing repairs needed. Remains current with new technology and ability to adapt Read, interpret, create and maintain drawings and specifications. Install air conditioning, heating, and related equipment and components. Overhaul and service air conditioning, heating units and systems. Repair, replace and adjust worn or broken components on HVAC equipment Repair and adjust refrigeration valves, piping connections, fittings, and couplings. Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with heating and air conditioning systems. Install motors, thermostats, humidistats and other HVAC components Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned apprentices. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations. Other duties as required Provide exceptional customer service Qualifications: HVAC License & Gas required 5 years experience in service and maintenance of chillers Manufacturer training is an asset Possess a valid driver license with a clean driving record. This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range as per collective agreement.
