Technician 1 2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm

Oerlikon Balzers Canada is looking for an energetic and detail oriented Technician (2nd Shift 3pm-11:30pm) to join our team in our state of the art center in Guelph, Ontario. The Technician pre-treats a variety of customer products using standardized procedures in preparation for coating. The position requires analytical thinking to oversee and assemble chamber loads based on customer specifications. Your Responsibilities: Perform daily changeover maintenance of pre/post treatment equipment. Oversee and assemble chamber loads based on standard procedures and customer specifications. Disassembling and reconfiguring the chamber for subsequent loads. Continuous visual inspection and handling of customer product with the highest level of care. Work with the Quality Coordinator to identify and address quality concerns. Your Profile: Must be hands on and ability to stand and wear PPE wear. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in a production environment. Ability to work with hands and be able lift 30 lbs.
