Job summary
The Tractor Technician is a permanent, full-time position. You will work in conjunction with the Service Coordinator, Trailer Technician/Mechanics and Tractor Technician/Mechanics to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections prescribing the correct remedial action. Qualifications: Must be a Licensed Tractor Technician Experience working on tractors as a Heavy Equipment Apprentice or Technician Previous experience and qualification to perform Safeties are considered mandatory in this position Demonstrated diagnosing and time-management abilities Ability to provide superior customer service to our Drivers Support and encourage Apprentices throughout their apprenticeship Basic level computer skills (paperless work order entry) Ability to work unsupervised Hold a valid Driver's License. May stand and walk on level and uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, bend and crawl, grasp, drag, lift and carry items weighing 50 lbs or less.
