The Licensed Trailer Mechanic will work in conjunction with the Service Coordinator, Tractor Mechanics, and the other Trailer Mechanics to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections prescribing the correct remedial action. Specific Responsibilities include: Trailer Maintenance: working safely and performing preventative maintenance on all trailers in the fleet. This includes diagnosing problems found during inspections and proscribing the correct remedial action. Trailer Repairs: performing repairs diagnosed during the pre/post-trip or quick check inspection and preventative maintenance. Other: entering work orders, shop cleaning, attending team meetings, and other miscellaneous repairs on Bison equipment. Qualifications: A certified Journeyman Trailer Technician or 2-3 year's experience. A CVIP license is mandatory with experience to perform Safety inspections. Must have a valid class 5 driver's license. Demonstrated diagnosing and time‐management abilities will be key to your success in this position.
