SERVICE TECHNICIAN (HET - TRUCK AND TRANSPORT MECHANIC) OVERVIEW: Bosch Truck Group Inc. We are looking for a Service Technician with the drive and ambition to succeed in a dealership environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Service Technician (Diesel Engine) is responsible for supporting our customers with their fleet engine maintenance and repairs including the following: * Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts. * Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to diesel engines following established procedures and safety standards. * Restore vehicles to proper working condition and ensure your work area is clean and organized. * Document all findings and completed work and communicate any additional issues discovered. * Close out repair orders accurately and support smooth transitions to the next job. * Mentor technicians and apprentices by sharing skills, offering guidance, and supporting their development. * Promote a safe work environment by encouraging proper practices and helping maintain tools and equipment. QUALIFICATIONS * A Red Seal Heavy duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification. * Cummins engine certification and experience with Cummins engine diagnostics. * 5 years’ experience working in the truck and transport industry. * A desire to challenge yourself, and a willingness to embrace the extensive dealer training opportunities we provide through our dedicated training facility located at our Red Deer location. * Pride and professionalism in everything you do.
