Job details
Millwright Subcontractor — Field Service, Southwestern Ontario We’re looking for builders, problem-solvers, and industrial warriors—people with the strength to handle demanding work, the intelligence to master complex machinery, and the discipline to perform safely and precisely under pressure. THE WORK Food plants, building materials, automotive, aggregates, chemicals, and automation. Scheduled maintenance, shutdowns, installs and equipment moves, rigging, and breakdown calls. Mostly field, some shop. Most of our work sits in the corridor between London and Milton — Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Brantford, Milton, Mississauga, Burlington, Ingersoll, and Hamilton. Some jobs run further out to or into the west end of the GTA. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Subcontractors with significant millwright experience on industrial equipment Willing to travel to customer sites Your own hand tools. We supply specialty tools, power tools, and PPE THE SCHEDULE Straight days most of the year. Shutdown season and projects are a different animal — nights, weekends, and some long stretches. We'll tell you what's coming rather than springing it on you. TRAVEL It depends on the job. Some customers are a twenty-minute run from the shop. Some are far enough out that we put you up and pay LOA. You'll know which one you're looking at before you take the job, not after you're on the road. WHAT YOU GET OT after 8 hours a day, not 44 a week. On a 10-hour day that's two hours of overtime every day. Electricians in house, so on install and automation work you're not standing around waiting on a sub to show up APPLY TODAY Bullet Trade Services is an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive hiring process. Reasonable accommodation is available on request. Please contact Human Resources as soon as possible to make any necessary arrangements.
