Location – Mobile in Northern Alberta Employment Type: Full Time Shift Schedule - 7/7 - 12 hours per day Camp Accommodations - Housing Provided - meals not included Travel: Travel to work at own Expense with own car - Company Truck Provided for Work Duties NFPA 10 Certification Required Responsibilities: Trade / Scope Specific Responsibilities Including, but not limited to: Inspection of existing fire extinguishers and related components. Diagnose the condition of existing fire extinguishers and related components. Perform preventative maintenance on existing fire extinguishers and related components. Recommend best-fit solutions for existing fire extinguishers and related components. Service and repair existing fire extinguisher equipment and related components. Sales of new and refurbished fire extinguishers and related components. Assembly and installation of new and replacement fire extinguishers and related components. Communication of inspections, diagnoses, preventative maintenance, recommendations, sales, service/repair, and installation of fire extinguishers and related components. Documentation of inspections, diagnoses, preventative maintenance, recommendations, sales, service/repair, and installation of extinguishers and related components. Follow safety guidelines, approved processes, and procedures on the job site. Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members to minimize disruptions and maximize productivity. Work cohesively with teams of employees or contractors. Communicate in a polite and courteous manner. Who you are: High School Diploma or equivalent GED with 3-5 years of related experience preferred. Valid Driver’s license in good standing Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with strong communication skills Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) Requires repetitive lifting, bending, crouching, standing and lifting, up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis, physically demanding outdoor work. You will be required to undergo various background screening that includes but is not limited to 3 year driving record, and fit-for-work medical clearance. Working Conditions: Work requires frequent exposure to adverse weather conditions and the requirement to wear protective equipment, including donning an SCBA regularly. Certification & Site Access Notice Please note the successful candidate will be required to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test, Fit For Work Exam, Respiratory Fitness Test, Mask Fit Test, provided by C.P. Services. Applicants must already hold the following certifications to be eligible for this position. If the successful candidate does not already possess these certifications, they will be required to obtain them at their own expense prior to commencing work. General Certifications Required: Valid Class 5 Driver's License Valid Clean Drivers Abstract Ability to meet all specific site access requirements General Safety Certifications Required: WHMIS 2025 CSO Standard First Aid Transportation of Dangerous Goods H2S Alive Required Equipment Tickets: Loader Operator Skid Steer Operator
