Job summary
We are seeking a full-time skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various equipment and systems within our facility. Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel to ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and guest-ready. Complete guest room repairs, including patching, painting, and maintaining overall room appearance. Troubleshoot and perform minor plumbing repairs, including fixtures, faucets, and related components. Troubleshoot and perform minor electrical repairs and maintenance as required. Repair and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Repair furniture, flooring, tile, windows, mirrors, and other hotel fixtures as needed. Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician is required. Strong working knowledge of patching, painting, minor plumbing, and minor electrical repairs. Experience working with swimming pools and hot tubs is considered a strong asset. Availability to work full-time hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Ability to safely work at heights up to 10 feet. Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
