Maintenance Millwright Location: Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge, ON Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Shift: Straight Midnight Shift – 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM Pay: $42.00–$45.00/hour + shift premium Overtime: Available as required We are currently hiring a Maintenance Millwright for a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment in Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, install, maintain, dismantle, and overhaul manufacturing machinery and equipment. Perform preventative maintenance inspections to ensure reliable machine performance. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and equipment plans. Use hand and power tools to complete repairs, installations, and equipment improvements. Troubleshoot equipment issues using root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques. Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives. Work safely and effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requirements Valid 433A Millwright Certificate of Qualification. Completed apprenticeship in Canada Minimum 1 year of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. General blueprint reading knowledge. Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbal and written. Must own a complete set of tools/toolbox. Ability and willingness to work a straight midnight shift and approximately one weekend every five weeks. Assets: Experience with overhead cranes, tow motors, aerial lifts, and industrial measuring equipment.
