Manufacturing Engineer – Advanced Manufacturing 📍 Chatham-Kent, ON | Full-Time | On-Site We are hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to support a high-volume Tier 1 automotive manufacturing environment. This role will focus on process development, automation, equipment optimization, continuous improvement, and new product launches. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes Improve production workflows, tooling, fixtures, and workstations Support automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing technologies Lead Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives and improve OEE Support APQP, PFMEA, PPAP, and new product launches Coordinate equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, and validation Reduce scrap, rework, downtime, and cycle time Work with production teams, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams Qualifications: 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience Experience in high-volume manufacturing, preferably Tier 1 automotive Strong knowledge of one or more: automation, robotics, welding, stamping, machining, or injection molding Experience with Lean/CI, APQP, PFMEA, and PPAP Knowledge of CAD, ERP/MES, data analysis, and automation/controls systems Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills Engineering degree or related technical diploma with significant experience Interested? Requirements

Requires 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in high-volume Tier 1 automotive manufacturing, and knowledge of at least one listed advanced manufacturing area. Candidates should have experience with Lean/continuous improvement, APQP, PFMEA, and PPAP, along with CAD, ERP/MES, data analysis, automation or controls systems, and strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills; an engineering degree or related technical diploma with significant experience is required.
