Job Title: Technologist (Part-Time) – Acting for Stage and Screen Department: School of Art and Design – Acting for Stage and Screen Program Location: College Drive Campus – North Bay, ON Status: Temporary Part-Time Assignment dates: September 8 – December 18, 2026 Hours Per Week: Up to 24 hours Pay Rate: $19.22/hour + 6% vacation pay Application Deadline: Posted until filled Qualifications: Two (2) year Diploma with a focus on Acting for Stage and Screen Familiarity with filming and editing for actor’s digital reels and scene work Experience in operating theatrical lighting and sound for production purposes Training in basic hand to hand stage combat Strong knowledge of networks and computers, broadcast, and digital film technologies Background as a professional film/theatre actor is an asset Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others Ability to interact with students, faculty, and staff Responsibilities: Facilitate filming, replay, and editing of reels. Demonstrate fight techniques, populate visual aids and guides to various techniques, as well as resources for Faculty to draw on for any particular skill that requires additional information and/or support which varies cohort to cohort. Requirements

Requires a two-year diploma in Acting for Stage and Screen with technical proficiency in filming, editing, and stage combat. Knowledge of broadcast technologies and the ability to collaborate with students and faculty are essential.
