Job Title: Nursing Lab Clinical Technologist Department: School of Health Science Location: College Drive Campus – North Bay, ON Status: Temporary Full-Time – Leave Replacement Contract Duration: August 24, 2026 to December 22, 2026 (subject to change) Hours Per Week: 35 hours Pay Range: Payband J - $43.61 Application Deadline: Posted until filled Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing required Current Registered Nurse registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) required Five (5) years of recent clinical experience including fundamental nursing concepts, skills, and techniques of nursing practice Current BCLS certification, immunizations and mask fit 3-5 years’ experience in Simulation preferred Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Demonstrated computer literacy In-person, on-campus position; must be able to reliably commute to North Bay, ON Responsibilities: Supervise and guide students in the PN and BScN programs to meet the learning outcomes of skills and assessment courses in a lab setting Plan, organize and conduct demonstrations, explaining correct procedures, skills, and theoretical principles Monitor student performance and make accurate observations and assessments related to students’ clinical abilities Ensure the lab is set up with supplies and equipment, and safely maintain and operate all lab equipment Applications will be accepted by the Organizational Development and Talent Management Department through our Career Portal at https://www.canadorecollege.ca/about/careers until 12:00 p.m., on the closing date. Requirements
Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, current CNO registration, and at least five years of recent clinical experience. BCLS certification and immunizations are mandatory, with simulation experience preferred.
