Senior Structural Engineer GTA | Up to $150,000 Base + Bonus + Benefits | Path to Associate Canterra Group has been retained by a growing consulting engineering firm to recruit an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join its GTA practice. This is an opportunity for an established structural engineer who enjoys technically challenging work but is also thinking about the next stage of their career. Our client has a strong pipeline of projects and is looking for someone who can take a senior role in project delivery, work directly with clients and continue developing toward a leadership position within the firm. For the right individual, there is a genuine career path toward Associate. The Opportunity You will take a senior role in the delivery of structural engineering projects, working with clients, consultants and internal engineering teams from investigation and design through construction. Depending on your experience, responsibilities will include: Leading structural engineering projects from concept through construction Structural analysis, design and rehabilitation of existing structures Managing project scope, schedules and deliverables Reviewing drawings, calculations and technical reports Coordinating with architects, contractors and other consultants Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers Developing and maintaining client relationships Supporting the continued growth of the structural practice Requirements What We're Looking For We are interested in speaking with structural engineers who have developed their careers within the Ontario consulting engineering market and are ready to take on greater project and client responsibility. Ideally, you will bring: P.Eng. designation in Ontario Strong structural engineering and project delivery experience Experience working within a consulting engineering environment Knowledge of applicable Canadian and Ontario codes and standards Strong communication and client-facing skills The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities An interest in mentorship, leadership and continued career progression Benefits Why Consider It?
