Job summary

City Wide Facility Solutions Vancouver is looking for a reliable and experienced Full-Time Handyman to join our growing team. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across commercial properties. Responsibilities: Perform general handyman and light maintenance services, including: Minor repairs (doors, hardware, drywall, trim, fixtures, etc.) Basic carpentry and installations Ceiling tile replacement Light plumbing repairs (faucets, leaks, fixtures) Light electrical work (fixtures, switches, outlets – as permitted) Furniture assembly and installation Complete service calls, punch-list items, and small projects Conduct preventative maintenance and general upkeep Work across multiple commercial sites (offices, medical, schools, industrial) Coordinate with facility managers and internal team Respond to urgent or time-sensitive service requests when needed Proven experience in handyman or general maintenance (required) Broad skill set across multiple trades Ability to diagnose issues and complete repairs independently Strong communication and professionalism when interacting with clients Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively Preferred: Experience in commercial environments Ability to complete multiple service types in one visit Responsive and reliable under time-sensitive conditions City Wide Facility Solutions is a leader in the building maintenance industry serving the more than 110 territories across Canada and the US.
