The MRT is responsible for operating and maintaining radiology equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. They perform standard radiological examinations, including fluoroscopy, while ensuring patient safety and adherence to privacy legislation.

Responsible for the cleaning, disassembly, reassembly, and sterilization of surgical supplies and reusable medical devices following CSA Z314 standards. The role involves operating reprocessing equipment, performing quality assurance testing, and maintaining sterile inventory for the surgical suite.
