Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Technician on a full-time permanent basis for our Corporate Accounting team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Are you detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment? As an Accounting Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting petroleum freight operations through accurate processing, reconciliation, and reporting. What you’ll do: * Batch, key, and adjust meter tickets; confirm freight info; follow up on missing or rejected EDI tickets from CCRL. * Code and process freight charges for common carriers and lease operators; track and pay lease operator holdbacks. * Set up unconfirmed freight, prepare cost/sales and petroleum operations reports, and assist with month-end activities. * Reconcile general ledger accounts and common carrier claims from distribution centres. * Other duties as required. Who you are: You are looking for a career in Finance and: * Have a high school diploma, two (2) post-secondary courses in financial accounting from an accredited post-secondary institution, and one year of relevant accounting experience.
