This posting is for an existing vacancy. Job Summary CMI is looking for a skilled Forklift Technician to join our Maintenance Team. In this role, you will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain various types of forklift trucks and other mobile equipment across CMI premises. Key Responsibilities: Repair and maintain various types of forklift trucks and mobile equipment Perform preventative maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns Inspect and test equipment to ensure repairs have been completed correctly and the equipment is safe to operate Install, remove, and repair attachments and accessories, including clamps, side shifters, push-pulls, lights, and audible devices Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair batteries and more as required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required One to two years of experience as a Forklift Technician, Heavy Equipment Technician, Automotive Mechanic, or in a similar mechanical role 421A Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Certificate of Qualification is considered an asset. Candidates must have a high school diploma and one to two years of experience in a mechanical role such as a Forklift or Heavy Equipment Technician. Possession of a 421A Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Certificate is considered an asset.
