Conestoga Meats is a uniquely integrated processor of premium quality, fresh pork that has been in operation since 1982. The company is cooperatively owned and supplied by a group of Ontario family farmers who entered the processing business with a vision of supplying the world with the same wholesome, delicious pork their own families had enjoyed for generations. To ensure this, each farmer not only grows the hogs and owns the plant but they also grow the feed that is fed to their hogs. Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and install industrial machinery and equipment, including responding to production line calls and performing preventive maintenance. Interpret technical drawings, support system improvements, ensure safety devices and food safety requirements are met, and work with contractors and CFIA representatives as needed.

The Afternoon Shift Millwright is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, overhauling, and repairing all equipment to required standards, responding promptly to line calls and equipment failures. Key functions include reading technical drawings, performing preventative maintenance, installing and moving industrial machinery, and ensuring all safety devices function correctly.
