We invest in our world-class team, empowering our colleagues to unlock their potential, because we believe when our people grow, so does our business. *ABOUT THE ROLE* We are seeking an experienced *Injection Mold Technician* (*Setup Technician*) to join our Plastic Injection Molding operation. This is a hands-on role responsible for installing, setting, and adjusting molds and related auxiliary equipment to meet production and quality standards. The ideal candidate must have direct experience working with *various injection molding machines*. The *Setup Technician* organize, control, and optimize the production activities to ensure product quality, equipment productivity, and labor efficiency. *DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* * Injection molding machine setups and troubleshooting * Pull and install molds * Set cycle times, clamp tonnage, size, color, etc. to ensure product meets quality standards * Connect and verify hot runner systems * Troubleshoot and adjust machine settings to resolve flash, shorting, pinching, burning or other defects * Complete insert changes, color changes, resin and regrind changes * Perform startup and shutdowns of plant * Assist with mold maintenance * Complete basic electrical troubleshooting * Ensure production facility remains clean and, organized and in a safe condition * Monitor and reduce rejects and ensure recording is accurate * Conduct visual inspections on product * Perform upcoming product changes and prepare packaging information * Safely operate pallet jack and forklift *QUALIFICATIONS * * Minimum 3 years of experience as a Setup Technician in plastic injection molding * Ability to fine-tune processes for materials such as PP, HDPE, Nylon & ABS * Experience connecting auxiliary equipment (thermolators, hot runners, core pulls) * Ability to make quick, effective decisions * Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles * Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods of time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $29.58-$39.67 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Discounted or free food * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * On-site parking * Paid time off * Profit sharing * Store discount Application question(s): * Do you have at least 3 years of hands-on experience as a Set-Up Technician in plastic injection molding? * Have you worked in the plastic manufacturing industry with injection molding machines? * Do you have direct, hands-on experience setting up molds on NXH and Toshiba injection molding machines?
