Test repaired equipment for proper performance. Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs in the shop as needed. Provide a high standard of customer service in all interactions with customers. Maintain documentation of inspections, maintenance, and work orders in a thorough and timely manner. Adhere to all company Health and Safety Policies. What You’ll Bring to the Team Qualifications and Requirements: 4+ years of mechanical experience working on a variety of construction equipment. Valid class G driver's license with clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than 3 demerit points). Red Seal / Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician License (421A or 310T) or equivalent work experience. Must have own tools. Must be available and willing to work overtime and as part of an on-call rotation. Strong understanding of computer applications and diagnostic tools. Expertise in diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Flexibility; must be comfortable with managing and adapting to multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment. Excellent problem-solving skills. Customer-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Eagerness to continuously learn and stay up to date with emerging technology. Demonstrated commitment to safety, with a strong focus on following procedures and promoting a safe work environment.
