Emeryville Auto Centre is looking for a full-time Licensed Mechanic Technician / Apprentice to join their team. Responsibilities: Inspect vehicles and test drive vehicles for diagnostic issues Technicians must be able to read and understand work orders created for work to be completed Capable of reading and comprehending automotive repair procedures Able to work with a variety of metals and plastics, as well as glass, electrical, and mechanical parts Experience using alignment measuring equipment Experience using hoists and other tools Repair and replace components required (tie rods, wheel bearings, calipers etc.) Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Required Apprentice or Fully Licensed Mechanic with a minimum one year work experience in the field Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues using the latest technology and equipment. Proficiency with computers and automotive scanners. Must work well in a fast paced environment and as part of a team This is a full-time position working 42.5 hours per week Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
