14 x14 Engine Field Service Technician (Basemine)

Job Summary Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to engines at the customer’s site. We are looking for a talented 14x14 Field Service Diesel Technician/Mechanic (Basemine) to join our Distribution business in (Fort McMurray, AB). 14x14 Basemine Will Make An Impact In The Following Ways Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products Maintain own tools In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: Completes complex internal engine repairs Performs engine overhauls unassisted Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software 14 x 14 Basemine days and nights This position is supporting shovels Must have HET off road Must pass Drug and Alcohol Testing Education, Licenses, Certifications Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Locally valid driving permit This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience Basic level field service work experience Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products Customer service experience Compensation And Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience. The technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing engine products and performing overhauls at the customer's site. They must maintain detailed service records and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.

Candidates must have HET off-road certification, a valid driving permit, and be able to pass drug and alcohol testing. An apprentice-trained engine technician qualification or a relevant vocational diploma is preferred.
