Job summary

Job Summary: Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to engines at the customer’s site. We are looking for a talented Field Service Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Kamloops, BC). Primary work location is Gibraltar Mine in McLeese Lake, BC, with candidates able to be based in Kamloops or Williams Lake. We are seeking a new team member for a resident position that operates on a 7‑on/7‑off rotation with 12‑hour shifts under a collective bargaining agreement. The primary schedule will be day shift, though occasional night shifts may be required. Travel to site and from site is outside of the 7 day shift. Will make an impact in the following ways: * Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop * Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools * Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles * Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies * Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products * Maintain own tools Cummins is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements

Requires a journeyperson with Red Seal certification and intermediate knowledge of engine products. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test.
