Job Summary: Assist with general workshop activities while completing on the job and classroom based training. We are looking for a talented Engine Workshop Technician - Apprentice to join our Distribution business in (Regina, SK). In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: • Assist in cleaning, inspecting, disassembling, and performing other basic workshop activities • Learn Standard Repair Times (SRTs) and follow documented procedures and policies to complete basic repairs and maintenance • Assist with completing required documentation, including work completed records and timesheets through handwritten forms or business systems • Complete training in line with skill development and business requirements • Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation • Ensure adherence to all Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation and report any issues or incidents to supervisors • Assist with repairs and maintenance on engine and power generation products under supervision • Support troubleshooting using mechanical, electrical, and electronic service tools • Assist with diagnosing equipment issues following guided workflows and procedures • Create and maintain accurate service documentation and repair records • Escalate technical issues appropriately and document troubleshooting steps Cummins is an equal opportunity employer. Exigences
