Davis Chevrolet in Airdrie is looking for our next team member who is eager join our busy service department as a Lube and Tire Technician. This is a PART-TIME position, where the successful candidate will earn a starting wage of $16.00 per hour, and work the following schedule: * Tuesday to Friday; 1:00pm to 6:00pm * Saturday; 9:00am, to 3:00pm Reasons Why You BELONG at Davis * We offer a strong benefit plan with employer-matching RRSPs * We have a Travel Reward Program so you can get away from work and travel on us! * Breakfast, lunch and snacks prepared at our in-house bistro by a red seal chef * We have regular employee gatherings such as BBQs, charity events and much more * Ongoing support, training and development opportunities * We provide a family atmosphere where you are valued and recognized for your contributions What You'll Do as a Lube Technician: * Perform oil changes, vehicle inspections and tire rotations * Replace light bulbs, windshield wipers and cabin air filters * Restock parts cabinets and maintain a clean and safe working environment * Assist the Service Department with other tasks as required What You Bring: * Valid Driver's License * Good mechanical aptitude with preference given to those with similar experience * Ability to work quickly and maintain quality standards in a fast paced environment * Ability to perform in a physically demanding role, including the ability to regularly lift upwards of 50lbs or more * Ability to work both individually and as a part of a team * Desire to learn, grow and develop your skills * Previous experience working in the automotive industry is preferred
