You belong at Day & Ross. Licensed Trailer Technician Full-Time Edmonton, AB Available Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. This is an outdoor, yard-based position. Applicants must be comfortable working outside year-round in all weather conditions. How You'll Help: * Complete maintenance and repairs based on work orders * Diagnose and service brakes, suspension, axles, tires, lighting, wiring, hydraulics, and HVAC/refrigeration systems * Repair trailer bodies and components (doors, frames, decals, etc.) * Work independently in the yard * Document work and communicate updates to supervisors/managers * Carry out other duties as assigned to support overall fleet operations. Your Skills & Experience: * Licensed Trailer Technician certification required * Red Seal endorsement is an asset * Experience in trailer/transport maintenance * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills * Physically capable of manual work and tight spaces * Knowledge of safety standards and industry regulations * CVIP and/or Class 1 license are considered assets * Previous experience working within an industrial environment, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience in the transportation industry. * Demonstrated experience in conducting safety inspections * Physically fit and able to lift, move, reach, bend, walk, stand, grasp, balance, climb, kneel and crouch for extended period of time * Ability to work in tight spaces * Strong communication skills – verbal and written To apply, visit our Careers page at dayross.com. Requires a Licensed Trailer Technician certification and experience in transport maintenance, with a Red Seal endorsement and Class 1 license being assets. Candidates must be physically fit to work in tight spaces and outdoor weather conditions year-round.
