Oil Production Technician

OIL PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN AgMedica Bioscience Inc. is currently hiring an Oil Production Technician to join our Oil Product Processing team within our cannabis production facility. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on production environment, has strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy, and is interested in supporting the production and packaging of cannabis oil products within a regulated environment. POSITION DETAILS * Full-time, permanent position * Monday to Friday * 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. * Existing vacancy * $18.00/hour RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform cannabis oil processing activities including refinement, dilution, filling, and packaging of finished products * Operate production equipment such as rotary evaporators, mixers, bottle filling machines, and vacuum pumps * Accurately measure, calculate, and prepare product concentrations and formulations * Maintain accurate batch production records and required documentation * Complete cleaning and sanitization of production equipment, tools, and work areas * Maintain inventory control and monitor production supply levels * Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and safety requirements * Support quality and compliance requirements throughout production and packaging activities * Work collaboratively with the Team Lead and other team members to maintain safe and efficient production REQUIREMENTS * Must be 19 years of age or older * Must be able to pass a criminal background check * Must successfully complete a mathematical assessment as part of the selection process * Strong mathematical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills * Ability to follow strict procedures and work accurately in a regulated production environment * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Basic computer skills, including Excel and Word * Laboratory, food/health, pharmaceutical, production, or cannabis industry experience considered an asset * Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) considered an asset * Ability to lift up to 25 kg/55 lbs and stand or sit for extended periods as required WHAT WE OFFER * Steady day shift schedule * Group benefits eligibility after 3 months * Paid vacation and wellness days * Training and development opportunities * Supportive team-oriented environment AgMedica Bioscience Inc. is committed to providing accommodation throughout the recruitment process in accordance with applicable legislation.
