We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The Registered Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of prescription filling, managing inventory and other administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and experience with robotics and central fill. Responsibilities Accurately and efficiently fill prescriptions, using both manual and robotic systems Manage inventory, including ordering and restocking medication and supplies Prepare medication for dispensing, including counting pills and labeling bottles Maintain a clean and organized work environment Process insurance claims and manage patient records to ensure seamless pharmacy operations and compliance Maintain accuracy and efficiency pharmacy standards that ensure patients receive correct medications on time, directly supporting patient care Assist with central fill operations, including filling and dispensing prescriptions and managing inventory Mentoring new team members as opportunities arise Qualifications Requirements: Registered Pharmacy Technician certification in Ontario Experience with robotics and central fill operations is a plus Strong communication skills for coordinating with pharmacy team members across multiple shifts Demonstrated ability to maintain high accuracy standards in a fast-paced pharmacy environment Solid understanding of TELUS Health Kroll Pharmacy Management Software Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly to operational changes
